As announced earlier, Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao elevated his son in the government. K Taraka Ramarao who is currently the IT and Panchayat Raj Minister of the state, gets two more portfolios additionally.
Municipal and Urban Development portfolios which are with the Chief Minister until now, were transferred to KTR. The official orders were given by the government a short while ago.
KTR was the incharge of TRS poll campaign in the GHMC elections. He led the party’s campaign to a historical 99 divisions win. In the process also made several promises to turn the city in to Universal City. KCR announced that KTR needs this portfolios to realize the dream.
