Amaravati Captial city NRI hang out detailsAndhra Pradesh government is planning an iconic building with 23 Floors in Amaravati for Telugu NRIs. The building will be called NRI Bhavan and will come up in the core capital area adjacent to government buildings. The building design will appear like the Roman alphabet ‘A’. It will also have flats for NRIs.

The building construction will be done by NRI Telugu Society which will purchase 25 acres from the government. The building will have a plinth area of about 4 lakh sft. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 150 crore and the funds for this project will be totally mobilized by the proposed society.

NRI Bhavan will house a revolving restaurant, a 2,000 sq feet audiovisual auditorium and a 1,000 sq feet amphitheater and the design of the building was prepared by a South Korean company. The building will be a hub to economic, entertainment and business activities. It will also house high-end training programmes. A London-based business school and a few other institutes have agreed to run short term courses.
