As a part of Telangana formation day celebrations, if you have property records which are are not registered yet, can get them registered for free next month. The Chief Minister had announced this on Monday. The property records which are documented even on plain paper before June 2nd, 2014 will be registered between June 2 and 10, as the state celebrates its second anniversary.
This facility is available for land up to five acres and the mutation should be done free of cost. Once the registration process is complete in eight days, the documents must be computerized. KCR warned the officially against graft in land mutation (change of title). The officials will extensively promote this in the next few days.
The state government had granted Rs 30 lakh to each district to hold various programmes for State Formation Day celebrations. Celebrations will kick-start with homage to Telangana martyrs. Sweets and fruits will be distributed to orphanages, schools for the blind and hospitals. Special prayers at all temples, churches, mosques, cultural activities, decoration of Bus stands, railway stations and airports are various other plans.
