KCR, KCR GST Bill,  CM KCR GST Bill, Telangana CM KCR GST Bill, KCR Telangana GST Bill, KCR Telangana Assembly GST Bill,  KCR Telangana Council GST BillTelangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao seem to be in a hurry to ratify Goods and Services Tax (GST) Bill and impress Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As Andhra Pradesh government is gearing up for a Special Session of Assembly to ratify the bill in the first week of September, KCR wants to ratify it even before.

The government had decided to have a joint session of the Assembly and Council on 30th of this month especially for passing the bill. The session will begin at 11 am on August 30 and is expected to be wound up once the Bill is ratified by the House. Already seven states have approved the draft.

Parliament has successfully passed Goods and Services Tax (GST) much to the relief of the Central government. The Bill since is a constitutional amendment, have to be passed by at least half of the states in the country which means at least 15 states in the country have to pass the Bill.Central government is planning to bring the GST into effect from April 1st, 2017.
