The construction companies are likely to complete the entire interim secretariat complex only by August-end. The construction deadlines have gone haywire totally due to the incessant rains in the past one month. The construction companies requested the government to give them good time for basic infrastructure like drainage, Power etc.
The blocks which are already ready have started housing some of the departments. The blocks which are completed will be handed over to the government and the complete work will be finished only by August end. As a result the government is also shifting its employees in different phases.
Mean while, the government departments that are operating in rented buildings in Krishna and Guntur districts are busy shifting the necessary files and other movable infrastructure present in Hyderabad. The files movement is crucial and is likely to take a fortnight. These offices are likely to be fully functional from the month end.
