Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu who is a master at using technology, deployed Drone Cameras to monitor Polavaram Project Progress. Naidu monitored the visuals from Durga Ghat Command Control Room. The Chief Minister had decided to monitor the progress every week using the drone cameras.
On this occasion, Naidu demanded the immediate release of 1700 Crore for the project. He also rebuked the claims that the state government is not ready to give the project. “The aim is to complete the project by 2018. Will be more than happy to give the project to the Center if they complete by then,” Naidu said.
Naidu on this occasion reminded him the then YSR Congress only dug canals and made money out of the project without doing the project works. He ridiculed the leaders criticizing his commitment for the project. Naidu reminded how he made use of those canals using Pattiseema and saved crops in Krishna Delta.
