Devineni Umamaheswara Rao comments on KCRThe water wars between both the Telugu States are taking ugly turn with both the sides sticking to their stance. The other day, Telangana Water Resources Minister, Harish Rao alleged that his AP counterpart, Devineni Uma is not ready to sit across the table despite several offers from him.

Harish Rao even went on to say that Uma is refusing the meeting as it would expose how AP is stealing Telangana water. However Uma responded to this challenge in his own style. AP government had written a letter to the Government of India to arrange a meeting of both the CMs in the presence of Union Water Resources Minister Uma Bharati.

AP is demanding that these projects should be constructed only after obtaining necessary permissions. But Telangana government is saying that the work for these projects began before the state bifurcation and they need no permissions to continue the construction of the old projects.
