Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is on a 4 day tour to China to participate in the World Economic Forum’s 10th annual meeting of New Champions in Tianjin city. Naidu on the first day of his Trip on Sunday managed to convince Ansteel, which is a government-owned company, to set-up a steel plant worth Rs 3,000 crore.
Naidu managed to convince them that Ansteel’s steel will be in demand from both private and public enterprises, due to the rapid real growth in the country. He also explained them how he is on a mission to build a new capital where the demand for steel will only increase in near future.
Naidu insisted to watch out for Kadapa where the plant will be in the close proximity of port as well as the availability of iron ore close-by. Earlier there was a plan to setup a steel plant in Kadapa district but the plans got stalled due to the mining mafia, Gali Janardhan Reddy arrest.
