Andhra-Pradesh-new-High-Court-Amaravati_Capital_cityCentral government seem to be trying its level best in distancing from its role in the aftermath activities of the state bifurcation. The other day Union Law Minister, Sadananda Gowda revealed in Lok Sabha that the delay in the high court division is due to Andhra Pradesh. He said this in reply to a question by a TRS MP.

Sadananda Gowda clarified that Andhra Pradesh could not provide the necessary amenities to setup high court in Amaravati. Interestingly Telangana government already offered necessary amenities at any other place in Hyderabad itself to ensure high court division. Center seem to be using Amaravati just to evade its duty.

Even if AP failed to create necessary amenities in Amaravati, it is the failure of the central government because according to the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, it is the center that should bear the cost of all the government buildings in the AP Capital including the high court building.
