Devaragunda Venkappa Sadananda GowdaCentral government has a bad news for Telangana leaders who are hoping for a division of Hyderabad High Court for a long time. Union Minister Sadananda Gowda clarified that the High Court division will not happen until Andhra Pradesh sets up a separate high court. He confirmed that the division can not happen unless there are basic amenities provided by AP government.

Andhra Pradesh government did not even started making temporary arrangements for High Court. The government seem to be focused only on shifting of state government departments and even refused to allocate office space for central government departments in Amaravati. The state government is also planning the new high court as Iconic Building.

The design work and the construction will take a lot of time. Liberal estimates indicate that the high court division may not happen before 2019 elections. If at all that happened before elections, it may just happen at most an year before the elections which is also unlikely. So, it is a huge disappointment for Telangana side.
