Greater Hyderabad Mayor and Deputy Mayor are confirmed. TRS Youth wing President Bonthu Rammohan is selected as the mayor while Borabanda corporator, Baba Safiuddin is finalized as the deputy Mayor.
Senior leader K Keshava Rao’s daughter, Vijaya Lakshmi tried for the Mayor post but Rammohan’s closeness to KTR helped him get the coveted position. Co-option members will be appointed in the next fifteen days.
It is known that TRS cruised to historical 99 divisions win in the recently concluded GHMC elections. For the first time after a long time, a party won the Greater throne with out an alliance with MIM.
