BJP Mumbai MLA Narendra Mehta gifted a saffron coloured Lamborghini Huracan worth Rs 5.5 crore to his wife on Tuesday. A little while after that, a video went viral featuring the saffron Lamborghini. Apparently, the MLA’s wife had lost control of the car and caused an accident by hitting a parked auto-rickshaw.
The MLA responded to the incident and the sexist comments by simply stating that his wife, Suman, had been driving imported cars for the past 18 years, adding that it was a simply minor hit instead of a high-speed collision that everyone is making it to be.
Mehta stated that, “the car just touched the front of the auto and it was not damaged. Road side mechanics cannot repair the car, which is currently parked in a school premises.”
