Telangana JAC Chairman Kodandaram made a crucial statement. He said people in Telangana wants to see Telangana JAC as an alternate political force in the state. “During the Telangana agitation, JAC emerged as a non political force. But people wants JAC to become a political force to make sure the dreams before Telangana are achieved,” Kodandaram said.
Kodandaram refused a TRS ticket in the last elections, trying to distance himself from politics. Recently, Telangana JAC is extensively touring the state and is bringing to the notice of the government about various problems faced by the people. There are reports that there is a gap between Kodandaram and the Chief Minister due to this.
Kodandaram who is mostly soft towards TRS, did not mince words to criticize the government in few issues. As of now, there is a huge political vacuum in Telangana as all the political parties are weakened. Kodandaram commands huge respect from people due to his contribution to Telangana cause. But will they accept him as an alternate political force? Only time will tell.
