TV5-ABN-AndhrajyothiAPCID has arrested YSR Congress MP Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju on the charges of sedition. CID released a statement saying that the arrest is for attacking various government dignitaries in a way that will cause loss of faith in the government which they represent.

In FIR 12/2021 registered in Guntur, Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju collided with ABN and TV5 to conspire against the Government. All of them together tried to defame the Government and as well as instigate clashes between communities. The FIR mentions three such instances.

1. Jagan has gone mad and got treated abroad, 2. Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju referred Sajjala as Bijjala, and 3. Jagan is a Kapu – that amounts to creating rifts between Kapu and the Reddy communities in Andhra Pradesh. There are speculations the promoters and others of ABN and TV5, the channels which are known for showcasing government failures may be arrested as well in this case.

Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju may approach the court on Monday regarding this case which they say is nothing but political vendetta. They say the arrest is timed in a way after the court hours on Friday so that the MP is in jail at least for two days (Weekend Court Holidays).
