The audio launch event of upcoming film ‘Joru’ starring Sandeep Kishan, Rashi Khanna, Sushma Raj and Priya Banerjee in the lead roles was held on 6th October, Monday. It was a routine affair with recording dances and launching the songs one by one. Apart from the speeches and dances, what attracted most was heroine Rashi Khann’s Telugu speech being Non Telugu and she even crooned for a song in the movie.
The title song of the movie ‘Medi pandu chuda melimai vundu…’ using Vemana poems, has been sung by heroine Rashi Khanna. This came as a surprise package because the girl even performed for the song live on stage. Among the other highlights of the evening, Brahmanandam long speech also became a piece of amusement. He literally turned prophet, prophesying that the director of the film Kumar Nagendra within 4 years span would be making big films involving crores of rupees.
He saw Sundeep Kishan emerging as one of the top stars of the industry. Inviting everyone on to the stage and speaking some words on them became major part of Brahmi’s extended speech. At times he even cracked jokes which didn’t really make us laugh. Like he occupies the second half of most of the films nowadays, he did the same in Joru’s audio launch event even.
