YSRCP gives Merger Feelers to Congress!

According to the highly placed sources in Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy led YSR Congress reportedly sent feelers to Congress party about a possible merger.

It is said that few central leaders of Congress are already in talks with Jagan through KVP Rama Chandra Rao, a very close aide of YS Rajasekhar Reddy when he was alive and ruling the state.

Jagan reportedly has placed few demands like Rajya Sabha seats etc which also include making him face of Congress in Andhra Pradesh. On the other side, Congress has taken this offer seriously since the 8 MPs of YSR Congress could well get it the Leader of Opposition post in Lok Sabha. It is said that the proposals are under the consideration of Sonia Gandhi. At the same time, Jagan also wants to be a little flexible in this issue since he is unable to hold back all the MLAs and MPs in the opposition for 4 and half years.
