YSR Congress receives a big jolt in Gudivada!
Gudivada is a very prestigious seat for TDP in this election. Kodali Nani, once the care taker of Junior NTR got many opportunities for Telugu Desam Party and became MLA twice with the support of Nandamuri heroes. But all of sudden he quit in the Jagan’s wave and also foulmouthed Chandra Babu very badly. His exit from the party also created differences between Junior NTR and the party and every one started looking at NTR in doubt. So, TDP cadre as well as Nandamuri fans want to defeat Nani at any cost.

On the other side, Nani has a decent ground in Gudivada. He is popular in the SCs of the region and with added strength of Jagan, he always had an edge on TDP’s candidate, Raavi Venkateswara Rao. But Kodali Nani suffered a jolt today as Katari Eshwar Kumar who has considerable hold in Yadavas resigned to the party. Katari was expecting the seat but was denied. It is said he will be supporting TDP in this elections. If that happens it should be an easy win for TDP.

Nimmakuru, the native village of TDP founder NT Rama Rao in Gudivada Assembly Constituency and is considered haloed ground by all NTR fans and TDP cadre. Rama Rao was elected from the Gudivada Assembly Constituency twice (1983, 1985). Except for one term, the voters of Gudivada have elected without fail a TDP person as their legislator. And that one time Katari Eshwar Kumar defeated sitting TDP MLA Raavi Sobhanadri Chowdary in 1989 elections.
