We have reported earlier that Mani Ratnam’s 1988 classic ‘Agni Natchathiram’ will be going for a remake in Hindi. The remake rights for Hindi had been bought by film maker Bejoy Nambiar who made ‘Wazir’ with megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
Now, the talks on the remake have surfaced again and it is said that young Tamil superstar is going to be playing the character essayed by actor Karthik in the original. As for the role played by Prabhu in the original, it is going to be Harshavardhan Rane.
But there is no official confirmation on this and as far as our knowledge goes, Dhanush never did a remake film nor showed interest in one till date. So, nothing can’t be said right now. But it would be interesting to see Danush playing one of the most challenging characters Mani Ratnam had created.
