Jeffrey ArcherCall it plagiarism, inspiration or motivation; the one rude word to all these words is certainly ‘copy’. Once in a while we hear people alleging that their concept is copied and used in a film. Be it Hindi films or regional films, many films are testimony to the fact that the concept is copied from some of the Hollywood movies and famous novels from different languages.

Here comes a world-famous author Jeffrey Archer who is calling our Bollywood film makers thieves. The reason behind his allegation is the concept of some Bollywood movies stolen from his popular novels. The visibly cross Jeffrey gives the instances of Bollywood films like ‘Ladies Vs Rickey Behl’ copied from his novel ‘Not a Penny More and Not a Penny Less’.

The other film he mentions is ‘Khudgarz’ copied concept from ‘Kane and Able’. It’s not just these two films Bollywood has copied from his novels and a few more and hence he calls Bollywood ‘a bunch of thieves’. At present he is looking around for an interesed Indian partner for his next venture but he wouldn’t allow any idiot (fake) who comes around claiming that he is Bollywood star producer. Seems his experience with Bollywood has taught him to be more cautious.
