When director Teja feels that he is okay to work with stars like Mahesh Babu, Kamal Haasan, Rajnikanth and even Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachan, why did he say a big ‘Oh No!’ to work with NTR and Chiranjeevi? He thinks that working with these star heroes not his cup of tea.
He says that stars like Chiranjeevi and NTR work with a formula, like fixed in a routine frame and that isn’t his style. He can’t get into a fixed format with songs, fight and things like that. He confidently says that Chiranjeevi won’t ask him to do a film for him. But even if the megastar asks him to do a film for him, he will not to do it because he can’t fit into his frame.
Teja already did a film with a star hero i.e., Mahesh Babu and Teja still feels he is okay to do a film with Mahesh. Coming to directors, he likes Ram Gopal Varma as director of ‘Shiva’ and ‘Kshana Kshanam’, Dasari for some of his films, Sukumar among the present generation. By the way, Teja didn’t watch ‘Baahubali’ but hails Rajamouli’s film for taking a regional Cinema to international level.
