This year, many of the Tollywood movies’ couldn’t come out as per the schedule announced. Postponement became the order of the day in Tollywood. The result can be seen when the biggest holiday season is wasted without no big movie release. Henceforth, July and August months have now become very hot.
‘Baahubali’ and ‘Srimanthudu’ release dates have been locked for 10th July and 7th August respectively. Hopefully ‘Rudramadevi’ would follow these two biggies. Ravi Teja’s fans are restless waiting for ‘Kick 2’. Once these biggies hit screens, once again big films would be waiting for another holiday season and that is obviously Dasara.
So, when would be the time for small and medium budget movies? After August would be the time for these films to test their luck. Any delay would only leave them pitted against the big films coming in Dasara. However no big or small film would want to use the window period between ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Srimanthudu’ for obvious reasons.
