CBN-AP-CapitalChandrababu Naidu who was struggling in Opposition for 10 years was elevated to power once again as the electorate felt he is the only leader to develop a good capital for the truncated state.

It is important that Naidu complete the capital construction before the end of this term to go for votes in the next election. Collecting lands for the capital has become a major challenge for Mr.Naidu and the government is considering land pooling option for lands.

The rules of land pooling will be finalized in few days and Naidu in case of non cooperation from local farmers is planning to unleash the Brahmastra of Land Acquisition if necessary which will be far from beneficial for the farmers but will make life easy for the government. However Naidu has put in fair clauses for Land Pooling and entrusted the responsibility of convincing the farmers to the collectors of Guntur and Krishna districts.

Landowners will be paid an incentive of Rs 25,000 per annum per acre till the developed land is given, with a five per cent hike every year. They will also get exemption from payment of stamp duty, registration fee and other charges. Landless poor, who might lose livelihood due to land pooling will be imparted training for upgrading their skills and securing alternative employment.
