kcr-visiting-yadagiri-guttaTelangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao has visited Yadagirigutta Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple few days ago and made big promises to the temple to develop it on par with Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. Days after the visit, the temple authorities have prepared a detailed development report of the temple costing 750 Crores and forwarded it to the Chief Minister.

The gold coating of the temple will require 50 Crore and the sanitation and waste management in the Temple surroundings will require a whopping 700 Crore according to the report.Every thing is fine but the question is that will Telangana treasury support such hefty expenses right now that too for the development of a temple. The surplus budget Telangana boasts off can not even meet TRS’ hefty poll promises like Loan Waiver, 2bhk flats for poor, 3 acres free land to dalits etc.

Additionally, Telangana is spending huge money to purchase power to the crisis ridden state. They have shelled out close to 700 Crore in these five months alone almost paying double to the market prices. It has to be seen if KCR manages to allocate these proposed funds to the Lord.
