Singapore Minister Shanmugham had made an interesting comment regarding the bidding of Andhra Pradesh’s Capital construction. Shanmugham clarified that they will only confine themselves to the Master Plan work and will not bid for the construction works. He also added that they will not have any objection if any Singapore companies bid for those works.
“We will not have any say Developer, Master Developer, Development Plan and pooling of funds” added the Singapore minister. This is an interesting development as so far every one are expecting that Singapore will be the front runner to be the Master Developer.
Earlier there are speculations that Japan will be given the responsibility of Core capital construction and Singapore will be taking care of the rest of the capital. Singapore Experts team will be submitting the Master Plan towards the end of May or early June.
