KCR ABN Tv9 ban telangana radha krishna ravi prakash

Federation of Telangana MSOs’ president M Subhash Reddy had clarified that Telangana people do not want to watch the banned News channels, TV9 and ABN-Andhrajyothy. He further added that Government or MSOs did not take this decision but they are only implementing the decision of the people who were offended by the anti-Telangana approach taken by both the channels. He reminded that neither courts nor the central government did not force them to resume the channels services indicating that they did not cross any rules and regulations of the business.

The services of TV9 and ABN-Andhrajyothy were barred by the MSOs 129 days back in Telangana state. The channels were banned by the MSOs of the region after Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao slammed them in Assembly for airing derogatory and false news on the region and the newly elected government. Despite the letters from I&B Ministry, KCR’s government has distanced itself from this issue saying it is the decision of the MSOs and nothing to do with the government. However it is an open secret that government is aiding the MSOs in this issue.
