Few weeks ago comedian Venu was all over the news when people from a community beat him black and blue in public. It was followed by huge uproar from the film fraternity and things eventually became silent.
Now the latest on this issue is that the comedian has been arrested after a complaint registered by the community leaders. As we all know the people of a particular community were offended by the comedy skits performed by the comedian in a popular TV programme. Since it wasn’t the first time nor was that the first warning, the offended people say they had no choice but warn the comedian directly.
Interestingly they had also registered a complaint on the anchors of the show Naga Babu and Roja as well. Will Police take action on them too? We have to wait and see what happens further in this issue.
