vishal-warRecently we have seen the same kind of scenario in Telugu Film Industry during the ‘MAA’ elections. The pre-election scenario seemed almost like general elections scenario, different parties pulling knife on each other. The same is repeating in the case of ‘Nadigar Sangam’ elections in Kollywood.

The latest edition to this fight comes in the form of young actor Shimbu who is contesting for general secretary post from senior actor Sharath Kumar’s group. In what seems to be like a verbal spat, Shimbu lashed out on Vishal and team making controversial comments on him that he is responsible for the rift in the Tamil Film Industry.

Shimbu went to the extent of saying that Vishal is like a newcomer while he (Shimbu) was here since he was a 9-month old baby. The controversy started when Vishal objected to Nadigar Sangam’s decision to lease their building for constructing a cinema theater.

Vishal and team opines that, the decision is detrimental to the locality as there are many schools and the students would be disturbed. For this, Shimbu seems to be deeply hurt for equating a cinema theater to a liquor shop which would cause inconvenience in the locality.

Further he prophesies that no theater owner would like to screen his movies hereafter. Day by day, the fight is getting bitter and the competition bitter.
