Big buzz emerging from the political circles indicate that former TDP senior leader and Minister, Tummala Nageswara Rao may be made the Home Minister of Telangana state.
The leader who recently joined TRS will bring several benefits with him. Inducting him in to the crucial post will get a representation of Kamma caste as well as a strong leader from Khammam in to the cabinet. TDP and Congress still have strong dominance in the district. Tummala’s appointment may also have an effect on Settlers who are feeling insecured in KCR’s regime.
The effect if any will help KCR in the upcoming GHMC election. So far KCR’s cabinet is devoid of any powerful leader except his family members, it is interesting to see Tummala getting such important post. Nayani Narasimha Rao who is currently holding the post recently got his operated but is not advised to walk for at least few months. Since the crucial home ministry can not be paralyzed, KCR may have a replacement in Nayani’s place in the next cabinet expansion. There are rumours that KCR will expand his cabinet after the Assembly sessions which will take place in November.
