TS to approach courts on Hinduja and Krishnapatnam! The first phase of Power Production in Krishnapatnam has already began and Hinduja Power Project is gearing up to begin production very soon. Telangana Government has written many letters to Andhra Pradesh Government and Power Project Officials to clarify regarding their share in those projects.

Despite repeated calls from Telangana, the project officials did not come to the meetings with Telangana Power department officials. Telangana is expecting to get 3,500 MW from the two projects and other initiatives in the pipeline and if it manages to get, the new state will overcome the 1,200 MW shortage that the State was faced with.

So, Telangana government is keen to get their share from this projects and is going to take this legal battle seriously. As winning this battle will end the power woes of the newest state of the country. On the other side, Andhra Pradesh government’s argument is that Telangana state will only get the share in equity for the amount they invested in the project but not the power.
