Telangana Chief Minister’s Office has issued a press note a short while ago regarding the ongoing Hyderabad Metro Controversy. The press note downplayed the entire issue as a routine administrative issue and assured people every thing is going on as per plan. The CMO also criticized a section of media trying to show case the prestigious project in poor light. The official Twitter handle of CMO says “These newspapers chose to report it mischievously and out of context”.
The CMO further termed the Newspapers reports as “attempting to damage the interests of Telangana state”.It is further clarified that Government Advisor BV Papa Rao & CS Dr.Rajiv Sarma would be visiting Delhi very soon to discuss about the Phase 2 of Metro Rail Project with Metro Expert Sreedharan and other Central officials. It is known that a letter from L&T company, concessionaire of Hyderabad Metro was leaked to media in which the company offered to step out of the project since the state government is not co-operative in completing the project in time.
