director-shankar-assistantIndia’s top director’s ‘I’ is awaiting it’s release but meanwhile it has caught in financial controversy. Murali Manohar who assisted Shankar for ‘I’ as an assistant director took to his social page to recover his unpaid dues. He says hasn’t been paid for the last couple of months and requests producer Aascar Ravichandran to release his payment. He said he is not keeping well and he has a child and family needs his support.

He tweeted “I am not ashamed to say that I’m hungry. I’m not begging for undeserved money. I’m asking for the money that I deserve.”

However, producer of the film Aascar Ravichandran denies the allegation and says he has cleared all payments and nothing pending. Production house wondered how a tweet had blown out proportions. But such is the craze around the film. Isn’t that enough?
