Tollywood has shutdown the shop today to ensure all the members of various unions of the industry participate in the Micro Level Survey. The theater owners across the state have also decided to shutdown the theaters for the Morning and Matinee shows so that people will remain indoors. All the unions of the TV serials have declared holiday for the day.
Telugu Television Technicians and Workers Federation requested all the Televsion channels to kindly grant leave for all the actors, actresses, technicians and enumerators. Over 369,000 state government employees, including police and teachers, are on field conducting the survey across 10 districts of Telangana and survey 8.4 million household. The entire exercise which started 8AM today will end by 8PM tonight.
