CBN-KR-KCRFormer Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Kiran Kumar Reddy is one politician who strongly opposed the state’s bifurcation and later he drew blank out of his Jai Samaikyandhra Party finally came out of his hibernation nearly after six months. He attended the launch of popular journalist Shekhar Gupta’s book, Anticipating India and talked about present dispensation of Telangana and AP.

KKR said, “what I predicted about power crisis is what’s happening now.” I have said in Assembly and out side several times that bifurcation will bring worst power crisis to Telangana and there won’t be an easy way out. I also said, even before the state’s bifurcation AP already has several unresolved legal disputes for Water with other states, I said, Telugu states too fight for water which is what we are seeing now, said KKR. He mockingly said new states have one Lakh Crore budget but not have ten days Assembly time to discuss on the budget.

When asked about his political future and joining BJP Kiran Kumar Reddy denied to respond. KKR said he used the temporary break from politics to visit US and he will reveal his political plans soon.
