Telangana intensifies efforts to stall Pattiseema!Pattiseema Project is going on at record pace as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is ambitious to complete it by August 15th. However Telangana government had intensified its trials to stall the project terming it ‘illegal’.

The state government had already written to Godavari River Management Board objecting to the project construction without their nod. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao met Governor Narasimhan last evening and once again complained about the project.

On the other side, Andhra Pradesh irrigation department had written a long explanation to Godavari River Management Board that they are only utilizing the water going to sea with this project. They clearly explained that for this purpose they do not need the permission of upper states. They also brought to the notice of the board how other upper states except Telangana do not have any objection with the project.
