Telangana Tourism department, Telangana Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC) had asked the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam for a share in the darshan tickets of the Lord Venkateswara. TTDC Managing director had written a letter on this issue to TTD. The devasthanam is allocating tickets to APTDC for the last 3 years which the corporation sells as a part of their packages and make revenue.
But Telangana is not allotted tickets after the state division. TTDC Managing director had asked the issue able darshan tickets in the ratio of 58% to AP and 42% to Telangana. Currently Andhra Pradesh government has dissolved the existing TTD board, New board will take at least a month to be formed and the decision will be taken on this issue after the new board formation.
