KCR-blasts-chandrababu-naiduThe ongoing Power Crisis in Telangana seems to widen the rifts between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. While getting suffocated by the crisis, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao continues to blame Chandrababu Naidu and Andhra government for the Power woes.

KCR had addressed the media short while ago after the cabinet meeting. He clarified that even ERC did not approve the withdrawal of PPAs by Chandrababu government. He explained that Andhra government is not giving Telangana its due share in the 220 Million Units produced in Krishnapatnam and 540.46 MW of Sileru Power project.

KCR claimed that there are 1050 Crores of Telangana investments in Krishnapatnam project and his government will go to the courts to get the rightful share. Telangana Chief Minister also tried to downplay the suicides of farmers under his regime and claimed that the figures are being bloated by some media house. He categorically stated that the official numbers of suicides are very less.

KCR also tried to explain the government’s steps in solving the power problems, “We only have 0.9 Million Units shortage in 2013. Now we have 167.99 Million Units Power demand. We have so far spent 609.79 Crores to purchase power from available sources”. While saying he would like to take the issue to the Supreme Court, KCR comfortably hit neighboring state CM with abusive words at his usual style.
