In Many media interactions, Adivi Shesh told that actress Tabu was his first choice for playing the cop role in his movie ‘Kshanam’. But since he couldn’t afford to approach Tabu at that time, Anasuya came into scene to play the role.
Now that ‘Kshanam’ is going to Bollywood to be remade in Hindi, it’s learnt that Tabu has agreed to essay the role played originally by Anasuya. This is like making Adivi Shesh’s dream come true to rope her in the powerful cop role. She missed in Telugu but coming on board for Hindi.
Since it’s Tabu, even the role is growing bigger to increase the screen time for Tabu in the remake. However, there wouldn’t be any major changes to the original script except adapting it to the sensibilities of Hindi audiences. The remaining cast and crew are yet to be finalized.
