Hyderabad based Rehmat Pasha was arrested was arrested in Delhi on the suspicion of being under the influence of the ISIS. The anti-terror unit of the Delhi Police took him to custody on the basis of a tip-off and charged him under the Arms Act.
However they could not establish any evidence of Rehmat’s suspected radicalization and his alleged involvement with any anti-national activity. Both Delhi Police’s Special Cell as well as central intelligence agencies but they had found no evidence of his involvement.
Finally a Delhi Court granted bail to him on Wednesday. Rehmat having no criminal history also helped him secure bail. However he was asked to report whenever he is wanted. Further he will also watched by the police.
