After Kamal Haasan and Vikram, one can easily say that Suriya is one actor in Tamil who is a complete perfectionist. He gets into the skin of his characters and goes that extra mile in bringing life into them.
The same has happened for one of his characters in his upcoming film 24. Suriya plays mutiple roles in the film and according to sources close to the unit, for the dubbing of a character called Athreya, Suriya used to lock himself in the studio and used to shout on top of his voice until it went sour.
The reason behind this is that he wanted to get a rugged voice that would suit the character big time. Suriya did the same exact thing repeatedly until he wrapped up dubbing for his part. Sources also add that even though the studio was sound proof one could hear his voice right out side the studio.
This shows a lot of dedication and professionalism from an actor who is become a huge star of late. Let’s hope that he scores huge success with 24 and makes a huge come back.
