As the judgement day is nearing, there is a lot of anxiety in Bollywood trade circles because several hundred crore rupees are at stake because of superstar Salman Khan. The final verdict on his ‘hit and run’ case would be pronounced on May 6 which would decide the fate of huge money involved with his name in Bollywood.
At present, Salman’s two big films ‘Bajarangi Baijaan’ and ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ are in the shooting stage and a couple of sequels like ‘Dabangg 3’ and ‘Kick 2’ are in the pre-production status besides brand endorsements which carry the superstar’s name as brand image. Salman is also into producing a remake film ‘Hero’ under his home production company.
Naturally the stakes are high and Bollywood is waiting for the verdict day eagerly as anything negative would turn the cards upside down. The thirtteen-year-old case’ fate is going to be sealed alongwith the fate of the actor and the money involved with his name.
