If the news buzzing around Kollywood media cirlces is to be believed, the release for Superstar Rajni’s big ticket film Kochadaiyaan is slated for 9th May is in trouble. The movie unit was in Hyderabad recently to celebrate the audio launch of the Telugu version of the film titled Vikrama Simha. Presently, the industry is abuzz with the news that the movie’s release on 9th May is doubtful. It has been heard that there is a difference of opinion between one of the producers of the film Murali Manohar and the distrubutors; with rumours suggesting that unpaid financial dues are the reason for the clash.
Makers of the movie have stopped the film’s ads for now which has given strength to the rumours of the postponement of release date. However, distribution association has denied the rumor saying when a big budget film like Kochadaiyaan is set for release, it is quite common to hold discussions about financial matters with the producer. If the release date ads continue from today, we can safely assume that Kochadaiyaan will hit the screens on 9th May, otherwise it could be an indication for one more postponement of the film.
