Rajini-Kamal-haasanFilms without any controversies are very rare these days. Sometimes controversies may help some films to garner buzz while some are badly affected. Coming to Kamal Haasan’s latest release ‘Paapanasam’, this film became the first ever non-controversial film of the universal star in the recent times.

‘Paapanasam’ was made without controversy, released in theatres without controversy and now running in theatres without any controversy. It’s good that a good film like ‘Drishyam’ remake didn’t get into unnecessary controversy. In a way superstar Rajnikanth averted the controversy on this film.

How? The director of the film Jeethu Joseph initially approached Rajnikanth to play the protagonist but the superstar refused the remake because of two scenes in which he would be seen beaten up. He thought his fans wouldn’t approve them and hence chose to ask for changes. Finally this film went to Kamal Haasan and has received rave reviews.
