HIV-matriomonail-adThe foul play in matrimonial sites would be common phenomenon in these days. But recent case raised eyebrows how the life threatening disease used to woo and swindle a teacher. The offenders Avadesh Lavani, her brother Amit Lavani and Sister-in-law Suman created a fake profile in a matrimonial website with good-looking photograph.

They mentioned that she was infected by Human Immunodeficiency Virus(HIV) and asked for the bridegroom with same disease. By seeing that post, an Urdu teacher from Secunderabad responded and contacted with the information provided on the website. Avadesh who answered the phone made a meeting to happened between Shivani Sharma as described in the fake profile and teacher. They both concluded to marry and enquired about their mutual savings to settle in Delhi where they wanted to settle after marriage. Then Shivani told that she had only Rs.2Lakhs which is meagre to settle in National Capital.

The teacher sold his house in Secunderabad and raised Rs.16Lakhs. He then transferred money to the accused bank account and asked to take a rented house. After this incident, the mobiles of offenders went switched off and victim lodged a complaint with Central Crime station(CCS). CCS police traced and arrested Avadesh in Rajasthan.
