In film industry, even the smallest of blunders change the fate of a movie. One big flop and the film maker has to face the disbelief and discouragement from others. Mahesh Babu’s ‘Aagadu’s flop did the same for director Srinu Vaitla. He got a lot of creative freedom from the hero while making the film. But the film didn’t work.
What went wrong with Aagadu? In his latest interview, Srinu Vaitla talks about the reason why ‘Aagadu’ was a flop. He explains that some of his movies have story first and then entertainment is woven around the story. But for others, he has entertainment first and then weaves the story into it.
Aagadu belongs to the latter category in which there were no family emotions embedded, which used to be the integral part of his stories says Vaitla. According to him, his upcoming movie ‘Bruce Lee’ belongs to first category in which entertainment is woven around the story.
