Sonia Gandhi cancelled her Maharastra tour today citing health problems. She was supposed to address three election rallies today there but they are now to be carried on by Rahul Gandhi. Congress sources refused to give any details about her health problems. Congress Party is worried about her health condition just before the polls. Her unavailability might seriously hamper their poll preparations.
Sonia Gandhi is suffering from a mysterious health problem for the past 3 years. She was occasionally flown out of India to get treated in USA. Congress chose to keep her problem under wraps due to reasons best known to them. There were reports that Sonia Gandhi is suffering from a life threatening cancer. BJP’s Subramaianm Swamy alleged that Government had spent about 2000 Crores on her abroad trips and secret treatment.
