It is known that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had announced his Signature Towers idea in September but Hudhud has caused the delay for laying the foundation. The ten floor Signature Tower will be built in 21.16 acres in Madhurawada, Visakhapatnam. The Signature Tower is proposed to be more appealing than Cyber Towers, a pet project of Naidu back then to attract IT investments to Hyderabad. The yet to be named Signature Towers will have a built up area of 10 lakh to 20 lakh square feet with higher band width for the entire IT Sez area.
Naidu promised to float tenders from January, 2015 and once the state government figures out the builder, construction will happen at rapid speed, said Naidu. The proposed towers will be the first step in attracting IT industry towards Vizag and part of it is to create brand image for the city.
