Chennai city and several other parts of the state are being tormented by heavy rainfall. The downpour which started on 30th November has made it very difficult for the locals. While the common man has the worst of it, the heavy rains have started to grow on actors and celebrities as well, with popular actor Siddharth being one of them.
The actor shared his pain on his twitter account along with pictures of his flooded house. The actor, acknowledging the problems of the other residents of Chennai, stated that, “I am an affluent actor. This is my house. Imagine rest of TN.” Siddharth has requested in his tweet to share the news that Tamil Nadu might be sinking, the heavy downpour has turned into a disaster. He even contacted several national media channels including CNN-IBN. He was actively tweeting till early hours spent a busy night co coordinating help via his own group of people.
The rainfall has caused a lot of problems including flooded roads, water logging, lack of transportation, and the worst of all, power cuts. Devoid of these basic amenities, the residents of Tamil Nadu are suffering silently.
