Trisha, Nayantara and Anushka are in their thirties and gave way to pretty faces like Shruti Haasan, Tamanna, Kajal and Samantha in Tollywood. At present these four heroines are said to be top heroines in TFI. However these pretty faces aren’t limited to Tollywood. They are also into Tamil besides Telugu films.
Coming to their present commitments, each of them are having only one movie each in Telugu on sets and are accepting Tamil movies. Samanta is shooting for Trivikram’s movie and hasn’t signed for any Telugu movie yet. Kajal in Goa for NTR’s film and had signed for a Tamil film opposite Dhanush. Tamanna has one with Ravi Teja here and had signed for a Tamil movie with Arya while Shruti is shooting with Mahesh and hasn’t signed any other Telugu film.
This present trend is certainly leaving a void for the top positions in TFI and making way for the fresh faces to take over the reins. The fore runner in this race is definitely Rakul Preet Singh with three back to back hits. Next comes Regina Cassandra for being lucky to be branded ‘mega heroine’. Ravishing beauty Rashi Khanna is also in the race and there is every chance for Adah Sharma to join the race for number one heroine.
The next couple of releases of these young heroines will decide who would emerge the next number one in Tollywood. For Rakul ‘Rough’ and for Regina ‘Pilla Nuvvuleni Jeevitham’, and one can expect Trivikram’s movie might do wonders to Adah Sharma’s career in Tollywood. Rashi’s present release ‘Joru’ didn’t get good reviews but Rashi personally got accolades for her ravishing looks. What do you think?
