Sentosa, the famous amusement park in an island of Singapore is famous in Tourism circles across the World. A similar amusement park is coming up at Bhavani island near Vijayawada. Hyderabad-based infrastructure firm, Malaxmi Group is coming up with Rs. 100-crore luxury real estate project Sentosa . The firm is also planing to come up with infrastructure and hospitality projects in the region.
Plans are on even to develop a ropeway to the island which is the key highlight of the Sentosa. The project will be officially launched on 26th of this month. Central Minister Sujana Chowdary will inaugurate it.
The project is expected to be a major shot in the arm of Tourism and hospitality sectors of the truncated state. AP government is also planning a new tourism policy which will enable the state to develop such tourist destinations on PPP basis.
