It was the audio launch function of ‘Daagudumootha Dandakor’ (DD) co-produced by illustrious banner Usha Kiran Movies and First Frame Entertainments. The event began in a funny manner with everyone searching mor missing Nani. And the lead actor Rajendra Prasad refused to carry on the audio launch without the hero of the film, Nani the rooster.
Then entered producer Ramoji Rao and alongwith him came the rooster Nani and hence commenced the audio launch of DD. The entire programme was held in a very innovative way launching the music CDs from an egg. Someone was found joking that how a rooster can lay an egg :-). DD is the remake of one of the most acclaimed Tamil movies ‘Saivam’ directed by A.L.Vijay, hubby of our dove-eyed beauty Amala Paul. He was the chief guest for the audio launch and opined that DD came out better than ‘Saivam’.
Senior actor Rajendra Prasad and child artiste Sara Arjun are playing the main leads of the film directed by R.K.Malineni, the protege of film maker Krish. After watching Tamil ‘Saivam’, it was Krish who rushed to Usha Kiran Movies producers to produce the film alongwith them. He expressed confidence that DD is going to bring him both money and critical acclaim.
